19th Meeting of the European Association for Haematopathology
september 29 - oktoober 4
On behalf of the European Association for Haematopathology (EAHP) and the Society for Hematopathology (SH), as chair of the local organising committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to Edinburgh, Scotland, for the 19th Meeting of the EAHP. This will be held from 29 September to 4 October 2018 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). The EICC is a state of the art purpose built conference facility situated in the heart of the city, close to numerous excellent hotels, amenities and sites of interest.
An exciting, interdisciplinary programme is planned to include an Educational Session, together with Bone Marrow and Lymphoma Symposia and Workshops. The latest scientific discoveries pertinent to the themes of the meeting will be highlighted and related to practical issues in diagnostic Haematopathology. Internationally renowned speakers will deliver Keynote and Topic Lectures, as well as the ever-popular ‘Meet the Professor’ sessions. There will be an abstract submission and selection process, giving the opportunity for delegates to showcase their recent research as platform presentations or poster displays and discussion.
CME-Continuing Medical Education will be provided.
Edinburgh is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe with a unique atmosphere. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it is steeped in history and filled with many ancient buildings, yet combines this with the sights, sounds and tastes of a diverse, vibrant, modern city. The local organising committee is working hard to provide an exciting social programme that will introduce you to some of what Edinburgh has to offer. Edinburgh is a compact city, easy to explore on foot. Tours and social events will also be available to help participants more fully experience the city and surrounding areas.
I am confident that this meeting will be an outstanding event, both professionally and socially.
Updates on the congress will be regularly provided on the homepage.
