Learning Objectives:

The course is designed to help pathologists:

  • Understand the wide morphologic spectrum of soft tissue tumors and associated diagnostic challenges.
  • Learn about recent developments in diagnosis of pleomorphic, round cell, spindle and epithelioid sarcomas.
  • Describe criteria for diagnosis in endocrine tumors in order to compare different entities which may pose relevant difficulties in today’s practice
  • Utilize practical slide seminar sessions to discuss and compare morphological criteria applied to soft tissue tumors of the head and neck, GI tract and endocrine tumors.
